BJ United Methodist Church: celebrating 150 years

of making disciples for Christ

JUNE:  Baby Photo Guess Who??  We are requesting baby photos from all members of the congregation for this contest.  Your originals will be returned to you.  Photos will be displayed on June 6 & 13 with the reveal being on June 20.

JULY:  On July 11, there will be a special communion service using the antique communion set during the regular worship time.  We will invite members of the congregation to reaffirm their faith in a group setting.  All members will be able to share items of historical interest with the congregation in the church dining room before and after this service.  An early set-up time will be available, Friday the 9th from 5-7pm and Saturday the 10th from 7-9pm.

AUGUST:  On August 15, there will be a 150th birthday party for the entire community at the church.  This will be a festive ice cream and cake event with a "Fun Station" for the kids.  The time is 6pm.

SEPTEMBER:  On Sept. 11 at 2pm, there will be an Elegant Afternoon Tea Party for ladies of all ages at the church.  All ladies are invited to bring their daughters, sisters, grand-daughters, and aunts to this lovely event.  Hats and gloves are optional.

OCTOBER:  On October 9, the annual Lord's Acre Day will be held.  All of the Season of Celebration events will be showcased in pictures for this day.
